Ashtanga Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat

Yoga and Ayurveda form an ideal blend for cleansing both the body and mind, helping individuals recognize what truly matters in life and what does not. India is the birthplace of yoga and the wellspring of devotional and meditative motivation. Doing yoga in a location where countless yogis have shaped their forms is akin to accessing a profound spiritual source.

During these two weeks, we will concentrate on finding our inner tranquility and recognizing our unique rhythm by becoming aware of our pulse and biorhythms, emotions, dreams, and digestion, while also permitting ourselves to tune into the changing patterns of physiological rhythms, thoughts, and feelings.

The unique culinary offerings and the daily Ayurvedic care cater to the requirements of every specific constitution type. Through calming massages and oil therapies, the senses can unwind from daily routines. The daily Yoga and Meditation session, set in a serene environment, encourages you to take a break, focus inward, and reconnect with your true self.

Morning classes

The morning Ashtanga Yoga sessions will be led gently. We will concentrate on the breath – we will flow with the breath. Movement and breath resemble a dance, a creative journey, leading us to the essence of our existence where we discover tranquility, liberation, and quietude within ourselves and among all the creations around us.

Afternoon classes

The afternoon lesson is split into two subject areas.

First area: Our emphasis will be on Meditation or being still in quiet. Engaging in silence enhances your capacity for self-reflection, allowing you to observe the thoughts, feelings, and wishes that arise without immediately responding to them. Three times weekly, we will conduct a guided meditation focusing on the Heart Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, and Root Chakra.

Second area: Pranayama, the formal practice of breath control, serves as the source of our essential life energy. We will concentrate on practicing pranayama exercises, breathing methods, and routines.
