Why pick an Ayurveda Treatment or Ayurvedic Retreat?

Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of medicine still practised today, and it continues to be studied and developed. Its medicines are prepared mainly from herbs and other natural ingredients. Natural does not automatically mean free of side effects, so every medicine and therapy at Kairali is prescribed and monitored by our physicians, who take your existing medicines and health conditions into account.

People also choose Ayurveda for its personalised approach to long-term conditions. For conditions such as diabetes, Ayurvedic care focuses on diet, daily routine, physical activity and therapies alongside the treatment prescribed by your regular doctor; it is not a replacement for prescribed medicines, and any change to them should be made only on your doctor’s advice.
