Arrival and welcome

On admission a patient is received in the reception hall with the traditional welcome: a kasavu cloth draped over the shoulders, a lamp tray and a forehead mark, and a tender coconut to drink. Staff and therapists greet with a namaste.

Meals are vegetarian: red matta rice, sambar, thoran, coconut stew, idiyappam, chapatis and fresh salads, with pink herbal water, served on wooden trays in the dining hall.

Walks, garden and rest
