KERALA
GOD'S OWN COUNTRY
Kerala is a stunning gem on the Indian subcontinent's southwest coast. With the Arabian Sea to the west, the majestic Western Ghats to the east, and 44 interconnecting rivers, Kerala is a region endowed with a distinct mix of natural qualities that have made it one of Asia's most popular travel destinations.
The attractions that await you as you cross over to the other side include a lengthy coastline with peaceful beaches, placid stretches of emerald backwaters, verdant hill stations, and unusual fauna. The Highlands, which descend from the Western Ghats onto the Midlands of rolling hills and valleys, form an uninterrupted 580-kilometer coastline with numerous attractive backwaters that are connected by canals and rivers....
Kerala is a tropical place where people may unwind and feel comfortable because of its year-round pleasant and temperate climate. Summer (February–May) and the Monsoons (June–September and October–November) are the seasons that are most noticeable here, while winter is merely a minor decrease in temperature from the typical range of 28–32°C.
